September was still summer in Texas, October was a blur and now, here we are in Thanksgiving week 2016. I’m still in a bit of shock. But finally getting a chance to post a few pics of our fall mantel. Everything was on hand except the leaves on the mirror (felt placemat and wooden Happy Fall plaque from Michael’s) and little orange votive in front of it (TJ Maxx). Pleased with my recycling effort overall!
Only intended to use the Happy Fall plaque but when I saw the layered effect with the placemat behind it, I was a fan, so it stayed. (with the help of one of those press/hold/removable hooks).
Will use the leaf lights from Home Goods until they fall apart. The wreath is from Big Lots (2014) and fireplace screen florals are Michael’s arrangement (2015-clearance!).
Only up for another week until it’s time to swap out for reindeer and nativities, but enjoying the autumn bliss for now.
