I was inspired by another blogger’s mantel with several leaves hanging from a string board. I already had the photo hanger (Pier 1), so it seemed that it was meant to be.
Cruised around Big Lots looking for Halloween candy and ran across the sparkly leaf placemats for 99 cents each. Fate indeed.
Next Big Lot aisle brought the copper vase on the clearance rack to my attention. So, $10.99 later, I was on my way to our new Fall mantel.
It was coming together, but needed some light, so you can see the variety of candles added. And found the Leaf lights at Home Goods.
