Reinbeer in the House…Custom Style!

Every Christmas I try to send my favorite Aunt and slew of cousins a unique themed gift. Since it’s a fairly large group, I also try to get creative (e.g. cheap…homemade!) when I can. I’d seen lots of cute Reinbeer ideas on Pinterest and was inspired. But wanted to add a personal touch.

After a raid of my craft bins, inspiration struck…and struck…and struck. 🙂

Found fancy root beer options at World Market (with and without alcohol which was perfect to have the option for the adults v. teens in the crew).

My Aunt Jan is the matriarch, so she had to have her nickname (Gran) on the antlers and then her infamous chocolate chip cookies (oh, and angel wings peeping out on the back since she’s simply awesome). And my Uncle Jim is a hard core fisherman, so with a little dental floss and cutout fish, he was set.

My sweet cousin, Krystal, was newly engaged, so she had to be a bride (just wish I’d added flip flops). Her fiancée, Jeff, has a great goatee, and their kiddos include a UH twirler, huge Texas Tech fan, and big boater fan.

And finally, my cousin Jeff’s side of the fam includes more boating nuts, a scratch golfer, my precious niece, Allie, who had gorgeous and big TX hair at the time, and a football player.

In the end, I had a blast customizing the Reinbeer for each person. Hope you leave here a little inspired!
